This position does not require formal accounting qualifications, but familiarity with accounting principles would be advantageous.

Contract Details

This is a fixed-term position.

Work Arrangement

This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of one day per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Systems Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing the financial systems for both the organization and its clients.
  • Developing and generating financial reports while providing user support as part of a shared service.
  • Leading the strategy for financial systems reporting, which involves creating and refining reports using tools such as Crystal Reports and XQuery, along with Excel-based management information systems.
  • Addressing support issues by analyzing and manipulating the MS SQL database.
  • Collaborating with software vendors to implement updates, troubleshoot software challenges, and identify opportunities for system improvements.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Experience in supporting a financial system with a user base exceeding 250 individuals.
  • Proficiency in financial or performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of MS SQL, Crystal Reports, and XQuery.
  • A collaborative spirit and a willingness to engage with team members and the broader organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
