Nurse Oncologist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a Registered Nurse in our Oncology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Administer and manage medications, including chemotherapy, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and the healthcare team, taking into account potential barriers to understanding.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Registered Nurse in an NHS hospital setting, with a focus on oncology.
• Current NMC registration and a valid PIN.
• IV therapy training and experience.
