Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor learner support needs and provide tailored assistance to ensure equal access to education.
  • Organise and prioritise technical and classroom support to meet service requirements, ensuring seamless delivery of educational programs.
  • Provide classroom support for learners, enabling them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their academic goals.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to facilitate student learning and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Support learners in using equipment and assistive software, promoting independence and confidence in their academic pursuits.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of statistics to support monitoring, review, and evaluation of the service provided by the College.
  • Encourage learners to be independent and effective within the College and the community.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities or other support needs.
  • Computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Experience of note-taking.
