Court of Protection Solicitor

Are you an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor with a minimum of 1-year PQE seeking a new opportunity within a prestigious Legal 500 and Chambers recognized Firm?

Our client is in search of a Solicitor who is dedicated to ensuring access to justice, possessing expertise in various aspects of Community Care and Court of Protection matters, including both publicly funded and private cases.

• Collaborate with local charities and NGOs to secure optimal outcomes for clients.
• Support vulnerable clients facing challenges such as eviction or inadequate community care services.
• Ensure compliance of local authorities with their safeguarding responsibilities.
• Represent individuals in Court of Protection proceedings, acting on behalf of "P" through a litigation friend or family member.
• Conduct thorough legal analysis and provide clients with informed advice on the best course of action.
• Manage routine correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy effectively.
• Adhere to the requirements set by the Legal Aid Agency for any work funded by them.
• Stay updated on general legal developments relevant to the field.
• Perform necessary administrative tasks in line with the Office Manual.
• Provide supervision and report to senior colleagues as needed.
• Utilize experience with Legal Aid funding and the CCMS system.
