About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Surveyor to lead our Planned Works Team. As a key member of our Property Team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of planned works projects, ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance, and delivering projects within approved budgets.

Working closely with our Property Director, you will be responsible for planning future programmes and providing regular performance updates. You will have excellent written communication and report writing skills, with the ability to write and review specification, tender, and contract documents, value for money statements, and policies and procedures.

You will also assist with internal and external audits and ensure the implementation of recommendations made. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced and dedicated Planned Works team, delivering complex projects while increasing the delivery of projects across our stock.

About You
  • You will be a Chartered Member of the RICS or equivalent with a HNC, HND, or Degree-level qualification.
  • You will have an understanding of building construction and building pathology, with experience diagnosing defects and specifying remedial works.
  • You will be an excellent people manager with proven experience managing a remote team.
  • You will have good knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, including CDM, Fire, and Building Safety.
