Job Description

LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our client's team in a secondary school setting. As a key member of the school's support staff, you will work closely with the Inclusion & Behaviour Manager to provide individualized support to a student with specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support the student's academic and behavioral progress.
  • Provide one-to-one support to the student, facilitating their learning and promoting positive behavioral outcomes.
  • Support teaching staff in managing challenging behavior, using evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the student's individual education plan, ensuring regular and constructive feedback is provided.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with specific needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality support and promoting positive outcomes for students.
