About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Lead to join our team at L3Harris Technologies. As a Technical Authority for Electronic Warfare, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of cutting-edge embedded systems for various domains, including Electronic Warfare, IP Communications Systems, and Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR).

Key Responsibilities
  • Product and project technical leadership, guiding cross-discipline teams to specify, build, and deliver complex engineering solutions.
  • Leading and influencing architectural design, drawing from various engineering disciplines, including analogue and digital electronics, RF, FPGA, embedded software, application software, user-interface, and mechanical solutions.
  • Contributing to technical proposals, bids, and internal review, governance, and sign-off.
  • Leading and influencing other teams to achieve common goals, guiding and mentoring engineers for skills development.
Requirements
  • Senior-level engineer, degree qualified in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Experience leading and delivering projects and products.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing others.
  • Enthusiasm for working with new emerging technologies to solve challenges using creative and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to independently perform research and exploratory tasks using publicly available software and information sources.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in Electronic Warfare product experience, Communications and communication protocols, RF design, analysis, or modelling, IP networking, DSP techniques, Machine Learning, or bidding and working within defence or government research.
