About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Waste Management Consultant to join our team at Boys and Girls Country of Houston, Inc. As a Senior Waste Management Consultant, you will play a key role in our nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in radioactive waste management and decommissioning, and contribute to the development of our technical strategies and policies.
  • Project Management: Manage and deliver projects related to nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and other external partners, to ensure that their needs are met and that they are informed of project progress and outcomes.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders to support the development of our nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management services.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development activities, including identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals to secure new contracts.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, physics, environmental science, or engineering.
  • Experience: Significant experience in nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management, including experience in project management, technical leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of radioactive waste management and decommissioning, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Personal Qualities: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality results, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent interpersonal skills.
