Personal Tax Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Manager to lead our tax department and guide a team of professionals. As the go-to expert for personal taxation, you will oversee and manage compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on complex personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and advise clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their tax position.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of tax computations and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Mentor and support junior tax professionals, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional client service and personalized tax advice.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and industry trends, implementing best practices in the tax department.
Requirements:
  • CTA qualified, demonstrating a deep understanding of personal tax and relevant tax legislation.
  • Proven experience in managing personal tax compliance and advisory services, ideally within an accounting practice.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of tax professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective client and team relationships.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high-quality tax computations and documentation.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to resolving tax-related challenges.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
