Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Mars Petcare. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production lines, while also developing your skills and knowledge through a comprehensive training program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Maintenance: Focus on maintaining and repairing specialized equipment, including flow wrapping, pick and place robotics, and secondary and tertiary packaging machinery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a four-person team under the guidance of the engineering team leader to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on our production lines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Take ownership of designated areas and drive continuous improvement through digitalized analysis and data-driven decision making.
  • Leadership Development: Develop your leadership skills and career progression opportunities within the company.

Requirements:

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering Qualification: HNC or equivalent, plus mechanical understanding or qualification.
  • FMCG Experience: Essential for this role.
  • Rockwell PLC Knowledge: Working knowledge of Rockwell PLC, including fault finding and diagnosing.
