An exciting opportunity is available for a PLC Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join a reputable engineering organization. This company specializes in the production of a wide array of equipment, including hydraulic lifts and aviation maintenance tools.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Design & Engineering, overseeing the complete software development process, which encompasses requirement definition, programming, and design evaluations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating software solutions for hydraulic and electrical control systems, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety standards.
  • Overseeing the entire software development process from the initial requirements phase through to coding and validation.
  • Designing electrical schematics and generating precise drawings, including detailed bills of materials for electrical components.
  • Developing technical documentation, such as operational guidelines, parts inventories, and maintenance instructions.
  • Participating in research and development initiatives to innovate and broaden the product offerings.
  • Providing technical support to clients and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensuring product excellence by designing effective electrical testing protocols and evaluating finished products.
  • Maintaining the company's esteemed reputation by complying with industry regulations and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
