Laminating Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laminating Technician to join our team at McLaren F1 Team. As a key member of our Composite Fabrication department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, composite laminated components for our current and future MCL cars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce composite laminated components to a high standard and to tight deadlines.
• Laminate components using advanced materials and techniques.
• Prepare and maintain molds, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Operate autoclaves to cure composite materials.
• Work in a safe and controlled environment, adhering to prescribed processes and procedures.
• Provide support to other teams as workload dictates.

Requirements:

• Skilled laminator with previous experience in motorsport (especially F1) or aerospace.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
