Job Title: CNC Supervisor

Location: Mid Suffolk

Work Hours: 40 hours (Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30 pm

Certain Advantage is recruiting on behalf of an established Engineering Manufacturing client who is seeking a CNC Supervisor on a Full Time basis.

The role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of the machine shop, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.

The CNC Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating multi-axis machining centres
  • Completing multi-tool set-ups
  • Conducting manual checks of components
  • Ensuring compliance with technical documentation
  • Milling and turning work to a high standard
  • Prioritizing jobs based on delivery dates and business needs

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in leadership in a similar role with manufacturing/engineering knowledge
  • Five years plus experience as a CNC setter/operator/programmer
  • Experience in Fanuc programming and general knowledge of G & M codes
  • Able to read technical drawings and produce work to drawing specifications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience on lathe and milling machines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional time management with the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • The ability to think on your feet
  • Good estimator (time and materials)
