Logistics People is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team on a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) basis. We are proud to support one of the leading names in the heavy goods vehicle sector, providing our drivers with the latest models available, ensuring a superior driving experience.


No Prior Experience Necessary


Position Details:
Location: Newton Abbot

Working Hours:
Flexible shifts available, including various AM and PM start times.

Compensation:
Monday - Friday Days: £14.62 per hour (including holiday pay)
Monday - Friday Nights: £15.59 per hour (including holiday pay)
Saturday:
Days: £17.55 (including holiday pay)
Nights: £18.70 (including holiday pay)
Sunday:
Days: £21.94 (including holiday pay)
Nights: £23.38 (including holiday pay)

Candidate Requirements:
- Valid HGV 1/C+E License
- Maximum of 6 penalty points, with no DD/DR code convictions
- Current DCPC and Tacho cards
- Knowledge of Driver's hours and WTD legislation
- Ability to perform essential vehicle safety checks and report any defects
- Compliance with on-site health and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills
