This position requires a highly skilled Human Factors Specialist to join our team at MatchaTalent. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing corporate support, consultation, and solutions to drive high human performance of frontline workers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Human Factors Solutions: Create tools and systems to manage human failure and prevent human-induced incidents.
- Conduct Human Performance Assessments: Evaluate human performance in field activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in Incident Investigations: Review and analyze human performance issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance on integrating Human Factors engineering into capital projects and advising on the design and management of operating and maintenance procedures.
- Develop and Implement Safety Culture Programs: Create and implement programs to promote and sustain a positive safety culture.
- Assess and Enhance Safety Leadership Competencies: Evaluate and improve safety leadership competencies across all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Psychology, Human Factors, or Ergonomics
- Masters and/or PhD in Human Factors Ergonomics or Industrial Psychology
- Five Years of Human Factors Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Preferred Certification in Human Factors
- Collaborative Team Player with Excellent Communication Skills
