TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join their team of professionals in a fast-growing and highly successful firm of chartered accountants. This is a key role where you will be responsible for providing bookkeeping support, including management accounts, VAT returns, and other services to a mixed and varied client base across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide bookkeeping services through to trial balance stage
- Assist clients in preparing for Making Tax Digital (MTD)
- Support with management accounts and financial reporting
- Set up clients on cloud accounting software (Xero) and advise on its use
- Complete CIS returns and VAT preparation and returns
- Opportunity to support with ad-hoc payroll work
- AAT qualification or equivalent experience in accountancy practice, bookkeeping, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field, or significantly more experience in a similar role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of cloud accounting software
- Ability to work in a team and provide a high-quality bookkeeping service
