Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our client based in the UK. The site specializes in production of outbound and inbound document services, with capabilities in printing, mailing, and warehousing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and stacking empty pallets
  2. Moving stocks and items of mail packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  3. Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions, checking loads are secure
  4. Performing daily equipment checks, recharging the truck's battery, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks by hand
  5. Performing other warehouse tasks, such as picking stock and moving it to the appropriate location on the factory floor, and dealing with stock returns
  6. Collecting full bins and moving them to the goods yard for disposal
  7. Disposing of waste, including bailing shredded paper waste or compacting

Requirements:

  • Previous Warehouse Operative experience
  • Valid counterbalance license
  • IT literacy and competence in MS Excel
  • Ability to lift and maneuver items, such as boxes, of up to 22KG

Working Hours:

Night Shift Pattern: Sunday to Friday, 23:00-07:00, with two 30-minute breaks daily
