Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team, responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on steel and stainless steel, fabricating metal components, and operating various tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and stainless steel components
  • Fabricate metal components according to drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions
  • Operate various tools and machinery, including saws, grinders, and drills
  • Measure, cut, and shape metal materials to precise specifications
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets BLOK KNIVES LIMITED standards and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to complete custom and low-run production projects on time
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols
  • Work on site installing steelwork when required
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, preferably in a small-scale production or custom work environment
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy materials as required
  • Forging/Smithing experience a bonus
  • Full driving license
What We Offer

£14.85 per hour, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (1 hour lunch)
