Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our department, providing professional leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Duties
  • Lead and manage your department to achieve its full potential
  • Develop and implement effective plans to maintain the required standards, consulting with the Deputy/Manager as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with area SENCO, EYFS advisors, health professionals, and local programs to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children
  • Provide guidance and support to staff to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of development and learning, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Cache Level 3 Diploma or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
  • Proven experience working with children from newborn to 2 years old and 3 years old to 5 years old
  • Ability to use own initiative and work effectively as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic and caring approach, with a genuine love and passion for children
  • Reliable and honest, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
