Job Title: Sous Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at WSH Group. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of dishes, as well as overseeing the production of all dishes assigned to your station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate positively and effectively with all team members and assist/support colleagues as needed.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Food Safety: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
