About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tradesperson to join our In-House Maintenance Team at Midland Heart. As a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our homes are well-maintained and meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and complete a broad range of repairs and special projects, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and decorating.
  • Work in both occupied and empty properties, using your skills and experience to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the work completed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson, with a main trade complemented by skills across one or more other trades.
  • Sound knowledge of site safety and safe working practices.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer

  • Salary of £34,918 per annum.
  • Performance bonus up to £5,000 per annum.
  • Out of Hours Payments.
  • Equipment, including a medium wheel-based van, power tools, full uniform and PPE, as well as a Mobile Phone and IPad.
  • Competitive pension.
  • 25 days annual leave (increasing to 30 within 5 years).
