We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant General Adult Liaison Psychiatrist to contribute to our Liaison Psychiatry Working Age Team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a diverse range of mental health/psychological conditions.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams and providing clinical leadership.
- Developing and implementing innovative treatment plans.
- Contributing to the teaching and development of medical students.
- Participating in clinical audit and attending teaching meetings.
- Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and supporting activity sessions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice at the time of appointment.
- Approved clinician status and S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Excellent knowledge in speciality and ability to make decisions based on evidence and experience.
