Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Theatre Practitioner/ODP to join our Anaesthetics team at an award-winning private hospital in Bath. As a key member of our clinical theatre team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our pursuit of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Work in line with hospital policies, procedures, and SOPs, including the safe management and storage of medicines.
- Ensure monthly checks are completed and signed off, and that anaesthetic trolleys and rooms are clean and stocked ready for the next session.
- Liaise with the Lead Nurse to agree on identified training and development needs.
- Develop clinical knowledge and professional skills through relevant training.
- Follow guidelines on maintaining patient records, ensuring legibility and accuracy of nursing records, and being aware of the legal implications of these documents.
- Ensure good communication exists between all healthcare professionals caring for patients and promote harmonious working relationships and safe working practices.
- Complete mandatory training as required.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotas.
- English language proficiency to IELTS 7.0.
- Experience in a similar role.
- RN/RGN/ODP equivalent.
- Demonstrable record of CPD.
- Knowledge of current issues in professional practice with particular relevance to the Unit.
- Knowledge of standards of professional practice in the wider healthcare context.
- NMC or HCPC registered.
