Position Overview
Orion Group is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Fabric Operations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the FM contractor to guarantee the successful execution of all fabric maintenance tasks (including coatings, insulation, scaffolding, and flange protection).

  • Collaborate with Integrity and Inspection teams to ensure the effective implementation of FM programs.
  • Coordinate activities of offshore FM contractors.
  • Partner with Integrity and Inspection teams to formulate inspection strategies and programs aimed at mitigating risks to the integrity of assets, including handrails, gratings, uni-strut, and brackets, in accordance with industry best practices such as HSE hydrocarbon leak reduction toolkit and company AI Recommended Practice documents.
  • Accountable for the creation and execution of maintenance and replacement programs for 'tertiary' equipment.
  • Work alongside the Integrity Engineer to establish a comprehensive insulation removal and inspection program supporting the CUI/WSE strategy.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual FM reports, including KPIs related to plan adherence, fabric maintenance backlog, and productivity metrics.
  • Ensure that all procedures, specifications, and documentation are up-to-date and reviewed at designated intervals, including coating and insulation specifications and surface preparation procedures.
  • Guarantee the timely resolution of all assigned actions in MyHSE, ICP, audits, and Strategic Improvement Plan actions.
  • Ensure that all contractors are fully informed of the impairment criteria for all Safety Critical Elements and comprehend the safety roles associated with the equipment being serviced.
  • Verify that all new projects adhere to the relevant company specifications and standards concerning fabric maintenance.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in an oil and gas operational setting.

  • Experience with late-life assets is preferred.
  • Background in asset fabric maintenance is advantageous.
  • Minimum educational attainment of senior high school or equivalent.
  • A candidate with extensive experience who can seamlessly transition into the role.
  • A highly motivated, proactive individual with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Awareness of commercial and contractual obligations.
  • Ability to identify cost-effective access solutions.
  • Proficient in planning and organizing projects.
  • Familiarity with composite wrap repairs.

This is a temporary position.
