Job Description

Job Title: FAS Specialist - Assurer

Location: Remote

Clearance: SC or higher

About Us:

Hexegic is a leading provider of defence and cyber solutions, dedicated to empowering governments and high-performing businesses to achieve their mission safely.

Purpose and Role:

The FAS Specialist - Assurer will work as part of the Hexegic project team, focusing on the UK national military requirements and collaborating with NATO and non-NATO members to achieve 'Day Zero' interoperability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other allied nations to achieve interoperability
  • Provide SME/SQEP support for customer RFIs and RFCs
  • Attend international Working Groups and multi-national exercises
  • Lead specific Assurance events and report writing
  • Desk Top Analysis and Quick Look Reports
  • Interoperability, Security, Capability Reports
  • Support the Team Lead in advising Defence on FMN Spiral Specifications and Assurance activities

Requirements:

  • Experience in national and multi-national defence environments
  • Detailed knowledge of NATO FAS and their functionality
  • Qualified or with commensurate experience in NATO FAS
  • Knowledge of C4ISR products and processes
  • Knowledge of FMN Spiral Specifications and Agile Project Management principles
  • Awareness of JSP440 and Secure by Design (SbD) principles
  • Working knowledge in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF

Desirable:

  • Experience in the UK Armed Forces
  • Experience in a Ground to Air Information Exchange environment
