Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a key member of our residential home, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to statutory and policy requirements.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Engage in activities that promote social skills, education, and personal development, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with challenging young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Qualified to QCF level 3 in Children and Young People.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level, with proficiency in record-keeping and data management.
  • A full manual driving license is essential.
