Electrical Service Engineer

DMW Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrical Service Engineer to join our client's expanding team in Teesside. Our client specializes in automation and electrical power for the marine, renewables, and offshore industries, with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fault finding, repair, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems on marine vessels.
  2. Power generation, distribution, and switchgear installation and maintenance.
  3. Vessel automation, control systems, and instrumentation setup and troubleshooting.
  4. Service work planning, including scheduling and procurement of spare parts.
  5. Planned maintenance, overhaul, upgrades, and retrofits of electrical systems.
  6. Commissioning and setting to work of new and upgraded systems.
  7. Collaboration with the engineering department to design and deliver new and retrofit solutions.
  8. Training and mentoring of other personnel.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum level 4 qualification, preferably degree educated, in a relevant field.
  2. Proven experience in marine/offshore electrical field service engineering.
  3. Self-motivated and dynamic individual with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
  4. Full UK driving license.

Schedule:
  1. Standard 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday.
  2. Overtime including weekends.
