Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to work in a Secondary school in Cardiff. The school supports learners in Key Stage 3 and 4, and we are looking for a professional who can provide effective supervision and support to students in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a classroom of learners, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons, including setting up equipment and materials
  • Supervise lessons in line with the national curriculum, providing guidance and support to students as needed
  • Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies, promoting positive relationships with students and staff

Requirements:

  • At least 3 months' experience in a related industry role
  • Registration as a Cover Supervisor with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
