About the Role

Citizens Advice is seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Researcher to join our team. As a Senior Policy Researcher, you will play a key role in developing research that informs our policy work and helps us make a real difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK.

Working closely with our policy and advocacy teams, you will conduct research that provides evidence to support our policy positions and campaigns. You will use your analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in data, and your communication skills to present your findings in a clear and compelling way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research that informs our policy work and helps us make a real difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK.
  • Develop research that provides evidence to support our policy positions and campaigns.
  • Use your analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Presentation of research findings in a clear and compelling way.
  • Work closely with our policy and advocacy teams to develop and implement policy positions and campaigns.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to think creatively and pragmatically about policy at both big picture and detailed implementation levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills, and experience of research methodologies and their application in situations when resources are limited.
  • Ability to manage and deliver flagship research projects to deadlines, and prioritise competing demands.
