About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients Department at The Cherwell Hospital. As part of a committed team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional clinical outcomes within a supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will encompass assisting radiographers with various imaging procedures, preparing patients for examinations, maintaining the department's cleanliness and organization, and ensuring smooth departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist radiographers in preparing patients for imaging procedures.
  • Contribute to setting up procedures as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department environment.
  • Support the management of stock levels, including linen and consumables.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care and support throughout their experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiographers and other healthcare professionals.
  • Respond appropriately to any incidents or emergencies within the department.

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within radiology or outpatient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
