About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients Department at The Cherwell Hospital. As part of a committed team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional clinical outcomes within a supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will encompass assisting radiographers with various imaging procedures, preparing patients for examinations, maintaining the department's cleanliness and organization, and ensuring smooth departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist radiographers in preparing patients for imaging procedures.
- Contribute to setting up procedures as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized department environment.
- Support the management of stock levels, including linen and consumables.
- Provide comprehensive patient care and support throughout their experience.
- Collaborate effectively with radiographers and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond appropriately to any incidents or emergencies within the department.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent).
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within radiology or outpatient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
