- Extracurricular Activities: Organize and assist with extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events, providing opportunities for students to develop their skills and interests.
- Curriculum Integration: Collaborate with other staff to integrate physical activity into the school's overall curriculum, promoting a holistic approach to education.
- Health and Fitness Promotion: Promote the importance of health and fitness through workshops and school initiatives, inspiring students to adopt healthy lifestyles.
- Qualifications: Must hold a valid teaching certification, such as QTS, QLTS, or PGCE, and have relevant experience in a sports-related field or working with children.
- Experience: Previous experience in a sports-related field or working with children is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, and a passion for physical education and promoting healthy lifestyles.
- Qualifications in Sports Coaching: Relevant qualifications in sports coaching, physical education, or child development are advantageous.
- First Aid Certification: First Aid certification is acceptable.
- DBS Check: A valid DBS check is required for this role.
