Job Description

**Financial Data Analyst - E-commerce Business**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team at Finatal, a rapidly scaling e-commerce business. As a key member of our CFO and FP&A team, you will play a critical role in driving optimisation and revenue growth through data insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial reporting on trading data using Tableau, SQL, Excel, and relevant finance systems.
  • Analyse large and complex data sets to build visualisations that enable the board and investors to see the value of data, guiding them on decision making and bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, pricing, and inventory teams to ensure data-driven recommendations are made to drive business performance.
  • Participate in special projects, including M&A, international expansion, and new finance systems.
  • Have the opportunity to build out a dedicated finance data team to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an FP&A/finance function using different finance modelling tools.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to perform joins and subqueries.
  • Advanced BI skills (ideally in Tableau) with the ability to build and maintain complex dashboards.
