About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team at Archer Resourcing Ltd in Diss. The successful candidate will provide personalized care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with learning disabilities in daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility.
  • Encourage service users to develop life skills and engage in community activities, fostering self-confidence and autonomy.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each service user's needs, abilities, and preferences.
  • Offer emotional support, helping individuals build relationships, engage in social activities, and reduce feelings of isolation.
  • Maintain open, effective communication with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety policies and safeguarding protocols.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or within a similar care setting.
