Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team at Sustainable Infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering nuclear power plant projects, including Hinkley Point and Sizewell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of projects through various activities, including producing steelwork platform designs, coordinating with different teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Perform design activities for fastenings and anchorages in concrete.
  • Liaise with building layout and piping teams to coordinate the design.
  • Work with CAD designers to prepare design drawings and models.
  • Manage engineering changes in line with company procedures.
  • Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents.
  • Create and maintain the Design Risk Register.

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a flexible working arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
