Job Title: Bank Catering Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bank Catering Assistant to join our Hospitality Team at Spire Leicester Hospital. As a Bank Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of food and beverage services to patients, consultants, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service to the specified standard.
  • Take orders from customers and adhere to special dietary requirements or specific needs.
  • Maintain adequate control of all stock through stock rotation, date checking, and ensuring packaging is intact.
  • Comply with health and safety procedures in accordance with current legislation.
  • Undertake general cleaning and washing up duties associated with a large commercial kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a catering role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with all customers.
  • Committed approach to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Basic food hygiene certificate and awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at Work is desirable.
