About the Role

The Institute of the Motor Industry. limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Audi Workshop Controller. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Service Department, ensuring the efficient allocation of work, motivating and supervising a team of technicians, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Aftersales Manager in managing the Service Department's operations
  • Allocate work to technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting customer expectations
  • Supervise and motivate the team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality control measures
  • Collaborate with service advisors to plan and prioritize work, ensuring seamless customer experience
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 - Motortrade or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leadership and team management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a can-do approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
