Job Title: 3rd Shift and Weekends Security Officers

As a Security Officer at Sodexo Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and the building they work in. Our probation centre in Rugby is a unique environment, where you will interact with ex-offenders and probation staff on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and clients by adhering to security protocols and maintaining a high level of vigilance.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, and other protective systems to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting staff and visitors, logging and transferring calls, and offering guidance and advice as needed.
  • Conduct regular patrols to maintain a visible presence and deter potential security threats.
  • Interact with staff, residents, consultants, visitors, and management, as well as local police and fire authorities, to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 and hold a valid SIA license.
  • Stay up-to-date with security techniques and site emergency procedures to ensure a proactive approach to security.
  • Undergo a full DBS clearance due to the nature of the site.
