Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve technical issues on the internal helpdesk.
  • Provide first and second line support for all internal IT inquiries.
  • Offer user support across the entire IT network.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct training sessions for new employees on company software and systems.
  • Oversee support call queries and maintain a strong understanding of procedures.
  • Ensure the safety and functionality of all IT equipment, recommending upgrades as necessary.
  • Advise the Group ICT Manager on required software and hardware changes.
  • Address technical issues from various global locations.
  • Enforce company policy regarding network usage.
  • Document procedures in accordance with QA/IMS systems.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of IT systems, and relevant experience from education or previous roles. Proficiency in Microsoft technologies and experience in desktop support (both hardware and software) are essential.

Knowledge of The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and familiarity with Microsoft AX would be advantageous.

Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £25,000, along with excellent development opportunities and benefits.
