Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Risk Management Specialist to join our global brokerage team at GGB - Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safeguarding businesses and empowering their ambitions by providing expert risk management solutions.
As a Risk Management Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored risk management strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining and growing your book of business by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and brokers.
Key Responsibilities- Control the renewal process for clients, gathering information and communicating effectively to ensure seamless transitions.
- Maintain and grow your book of business by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and brokers.
- Openly discuss renewal terms with customers, seeking alternatives and negotiating competitive terms that meet their objectives.
- Visit clients as appropriate, utilizing your exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
- Assess account queries and credit control matters, resolving efficiently and escalating concerns to the relevant team.
- Identify and act upon new-business opportunities, using sound judgment to recommend them if appropriate.
- You hold or are working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Dip CII/Cert CII.
- You have a strong working knowledge of general insurance products, services, and classes of insurance, educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
- You possess a strong knowledge of the client market and insurance industry network, including the London Market, Lloyds, and industry.
- You have due diligence in administration, policy documents, and processes.
- You have excellent client service focus, with the customer always being your top priority.
- You generate and drive new business using exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- You actively deal with ambiguity and have outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.
- You continually build your industry knowledge and seek development.
- You are eligible to work in the UK.
