Job Title: Conveyancing Fee Earner

Location: Hall Green

Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our team at Simpson Judge Ltd. As a key member of our high street conveyancing team, you will be responsible for handling residential property transactions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up files, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks;
  • Commissioning surveys and subsequent reports;
  • Managing all aspects of sales and purchase transactions, from first instructions to post-completion filing of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns at HMRC and registration of title at the Land Registry;
  • Liaising with surveyors, estate agents, clients, and other solicitors;
  • Attending client meetings (video meetings at present) to take notes and action matters arising;
  • Liaising with clients and other professionals to assist the solicitor team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in setting up files, including AML checks;
  • Knowledge of surveying and subsequent reports;
  • Ability to manage sales and purchase transactions from start to finish;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
