We are currently looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Cost Management Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the ongoing cost modeling initiatives, including development and oversight.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with all relevant departments to ensure accurate modeling data.
- Oversee cash forecasting, manage payments, and support treasury operations.
- Ensure compliance with existing internal controls across the organization while developing new, robust control processes.
- Enhance financial systems and processes, actively seeking efficiency improvements.
- Provide support to the Senior Accountant in cost modeling and reporting tasks.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Participate in both internal and external audit processes.
The ideal candidate will approach tasks logically, demonstrating the ability and motivation to generate innovative ideas. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with manufacturing partners and internal teams, along with the capability to build and maintain enduring relationships in diverse project teams.
Qualifications:
- Qualified or aspiring to become a certified accountant.
- Exceptional numerical proficiency and advanced Excel skills with a strong analytical problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build cross-functional relationships.
- Goal-oriented, detail-focused, and a self-motivated individual.
- Adaptable and flexible in a team setting.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
- Open to change and new ideas.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial experience in a comparable role.
- Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
