About the Role: Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking dedicated production operatives for the Finishing Department. This role offers a dynamic and engaging work environment, requiring individuals who are committed and skilled. Responsibilities include operating machinery, participating in the production line, learning various production processes, and providing assistance to team members. Over time, you will gain the opportunity to manage your own machine.

Key Qualifications:

  • A strong eagerness to acquire new skills
  • Experience in a production line setting, assembling products for delivery
  • Ability to operate hand-held cranes for moving heavy materials
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic
  • Punctuality and availability for overtime work
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay for night shifts (£ :00 - 6:00) and day shifts (£ :00 - 16:00), with the possibility of 12-hour shifts on a rotational schedule.
  • Work schedule from Monday to Thursday, with overtime pay for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Access to on-site changing and shower facilities.
