Job Title: Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team at Wincanton. As a key member of our senior eFulfilment leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability while maintaining strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key operational stakeholders to deliver site budget and profitability targets across multiple customers/contracts.
  • Take full financial control responsibility for both the P&L and balance sheet, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and ownership of successful financial onboarding of new contracts.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and interpretation of operations on a weekly/periodic basis.
  • Support and lead on contractual negotiations for renewals, taking the lead Commercial role for contract negotiations within guidelines and approval targets.
  • Present and lead from a Finance and Commercial perspective in customer-facing meetings and reviews.
  • Carry out financial modelling and analysis to support decision making, including any new business propositions and develop models and reporting to drive performance.
  • Lead and manage delivery of the annual budgets, customer forecasts, and align with overall HVeF expectations as set out by Financial Director.
  • Build, lead, motivate, and develop our finance team to build capability and succession planning.
  • Report and own key performance indicators and ensure adherence to contractual commitments and deliverables.
  • Deliver and work in partnership with internal/external stakeholders in and outside of finance.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with excellent financial and commercial experience.
  • Strong finance business partnering skills, with demonstration of drive, energy, and commitment to support customers/business in overall commercial/financial performance.
  • Proactive approach and inquisitive mindset, with a passion for challenging and collaborating with teams to drive performance.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels.
  • Self-starter and can-do attitude with a drive to success and deliver, whilst committing to continuous improvement.
