Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and upload video content for ITV's social media channels.
  • Create visually appealing thumbnails and develop engaging metadata tailored to each platform.
  • Maintain accurate records for content management by tracking and logging video content.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce engaging social media posts that promote long-form content.
  • Schedule video content for YouTube and social media according to best practices.
  • Assist in identifying content priorities and scheduling with the Digital Channels Manager.
  • Show a willingness to learn and stay informed about social media trends.
  • Transform long-form content into concise social media videos, optimizing for maximum engagement across platforms.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated video editing proficiency with experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Confidence in producing social video content across various formats.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms, including advanced back-end functionalities to optimize channel and content performance.
  • Strong grasp of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
  • Ability to create compelling and visually striking thumbnails and graphics.
