This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring attendance in the office one day a week.
About Our Team
The IT Solutions & Development division is responsible for the creation and upkeep of business applications, websites, and reporting tools for all business units and subsidiaries within Connells Group.
The team encompasses several key areas:
- Application Development
- Online Development
- Data Development
- Business Solutions
Core Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst:
- Gather and document business requirements
- Create business requirements documents or user stories
- Engage proactively with senior business leaders to grasp their operational processes and needs
- Encourage a culture of fostering strong working relationships with personnel at all levels
- Collaborate closely with Systems Analysts and Architects to ensure that requirements are integrated into technical specifications
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding project status and clarification of requirements
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and assist clients in developing suitable test scenarios
- Provide application support as necessary
- Collect and organize all feedback and change requests from the business
- Represent the Business Analysis team in business meetings, including delivering presentations
- Assist in the project management of changes into the production environment
Qualifications & Skills Required for Success as a Business Systems Analyst:
Essential:
- Experience in documenting business requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Project Management expertise
- Capability to present specifications to clients
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
Desirable:
- BSC Diploma in Business Analysis (ISEB)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio
- Experience in crafting basic MS SQL queries
