Job Summary:

Mach Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in a busy food manufacturing site. As a key member of the multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production process by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs or replacements as necessary
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency
• Collaborate with production staff to identify and address maintenance needs
• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering
• 18th Edition certification
• Experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment
• Strong focus on health and safety
• CI Mindset to drive continuous improvement
