We are seeking a highly skilled Design Expert to join our Design Team at Pasquill. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering profitable sales and development of our customer platform through outstanding customer service and design excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a customer portfolio and produce high-quality designs for customers within given timescales.
- Identify opportunities to maximise sales opportunities and build good relationships with customers, communicating with them throughout the process.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints using problem-solving techniques.
- Produce customer quotations, following the Pasquill 'Six Step Enquiry and Quote Process.'
- Identify actions to improve conversion rate of quotations.
Pasquill is one of the largest suppliers of trussed rafters in the UK, with a nationwide network of design and manufacturing sites, supported by local knowledge and service. As part of the Saint-Gobain Off-Site Solutions' division, we share the group's common purpose of 'making the world a better home'; manufacturing timber products that have a positive impact on quality of life and performance, with an emphasis on sustainability.
What We're Looking For- Previous sales and design experience in engineered timber (preferred).
- Understanding of building regulations and relevant legislation (preferred).
- A huge focus on the customer experience.
- Passionate about ongoing self-development.
- Experienced in Mitek Pamir software would be great, but any other Truss design software would be advantageous.
- Strong team ethic.
This role is fully office-based, working 8am – 4.30pm Monday-Friday. You will be the main point of contact for the customer from design to order and will truly partner them, providing world-class customer service.
