Financial Controller for Luxury Fashion Brand

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at H International Consultant / HIa Legal. Based in Central London, you will report directly to the Finance Director and be part of the senior leadership team working alongside the Sales Director and Commercial Director to drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, including the management accounts pack, for wholesale and retail entities, ensuring timely delivery to the Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer.
- Manage and reconcile the Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, along with necessary schedules, for review by the Finance Director on a consistent basis.
- Prepare Year End audit packs and coordinate with external auditors for Year-End audit.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounts payable and management accountants' entries, such as Fixed Asset Register schedules, bank reconciliation, credit card transactions, prepayments accruals, and intercompany invoices, and meet all internal deadlines.
- Prepare and present the bi-weekly cashflow model, review, and manage the bi-weekly payment run.
- Enter monthly records, including retail sales and their reconciliations, payroll records.
- Prepare and present the weekly rolling cash flow and forecasting.
- Handle reporting to HMRC, such as VAT Returns, Ad hoc Forms, etc.
- Be the point of contact for transactional banking (including international payments) and insurers.
- Assist with intercompany and foreign exchange (FX) transactions.
- Support the FD with the preparation of the annual budget, providing detailed schedules, variance analysis versus Budget, Forecast, and last year.
- Have a minimum of an intermediate level of Excel to be considered for this position.
- Contribute to the implementation of a new Purchase Order (PO) system to the wider business.
- Act as a business partner for marketing, collaborating with the marketing heads to ensure marketing expenditures are in line with the budget team.
- Mentor and develop the skills of the Accounts Payable team and Management Accountants.
- Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met by the team.
