About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Heating Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in installing low-carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our team to install low-carbon technology, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in heat pump installations, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments, reviewing technical specifications and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, empowering them to make informed decisions and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with electricians to commission Air Source Heat Pumps, ensuring efficient and safe installations.
Requirements
  • Hold a G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in boiler installation, with a strong understanding of heating system design and fault-finding.
  • Domestic hot and cold water system knowledge, with a focus on low-carbon technologies.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
