Global Facade Director - Structural Engineering London

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Facade Director to lead our Façade Design Team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for spearheading the design and implementation of facade solutions for our clients in Dubai, the Middle East, and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Façade Design Team, setting performance objectives and fostering personal growth.
  • Provide high-level value engineering led technical expertise when applying structural engineering principles, techniques, and methods to the planning and design of building services projects.
  • Innovate beyond conventional practices by harnessing software tools like Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.
  • Contribute to business development, nurturing client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Have wide-ranging technical expertise including knowledge of facade structural and thermal calculations, specifications, and performance requirements.
  • Knowledge of FEA programs including non-linear/thermal analysis programs.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Building Design (Architectural) from a Reputed College/University.
  • 20+ years of project experience in shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, and residential & commercial towers, high-rise projects using latest design and construction technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling/planning and tracking of progress.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • People management skills.
  • Networking.

Software Knowledge:

  • ETABS.
  • SAFE.
  • STAADPRO.
